Organised by EAR an Arthroplasty Register section at the EFORT-Portal was launched. Aim is to collect and present worldwide Arthroplasty Register information in a user friendly way.

Since 2-2005 an International Register Society is in development.
EFORT-EAR supports this initiative.

According to an agreement at the EFORT Executive Committee a non profit scientific society (EFORT-EAR) was set up to support the increasing activities.
Centres of activity are the General Hospital Linz and the Medical University Innsbruck in Austria.
This Society is working in close cooperation with EFORT
